Where can I park?

there is FREE 2 hour STREET parking ACCORDING TO SIGNAGE ALONG J STREET AND INTERSECTING NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS TO NOT PARK IN AREAS WITH SIGNAGE REFLECTING PERMIT ONLY OR UNDER 3O MINUTE PARKING. ALL OF OUR ARTISTS ARE HAPPY TO PAUSE DURING YOUR SESSION to GIVE YOU TIME TO move your car IF you need TO! (setting an alarm is helpful to remember)

Do you accept walk-ins?

we are happy to take walk-ins, if an artist is available! Please call AHEAD OR REACH OUT TO YOUR DESIRED ARTIST DIRECTLY to see if someone is available.

What can I expect during my tattoo appointment?

Here at White Buffalo Gallery, our artists are always respectful and professional. You can expect a collaborative experience where you and your artist work together to create a beautiful and long-lasting adornment for your body.

How do I book an appointment?

Each artist at White Buffalo GALLERY books independently AND HAS DIFFERENT AVAILABILITY. THE BEST WAY TO GET STARTED IS TO REACH OUT TO YOUR DESIRED ARTIST DIRECTLY about your project inquiry, including GENERAL concept, size, placement and budget. A DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED TO BOOK YOUR TATTOO SESSION! We’RE HAPPY TO suggest ONE OF OUR artist FOR your project IF YOU ARE STILL DECIDING!

How should I prepare for my appointment?

In order to ensure a pleasant and productive experience for you and your artist, please arrive to your appointment on time, sober, well rested, hydrated and fed. we Recommend not drinking alcohol the day before or day of your appointment. Wear dark, comfortable clothes that you won’t mind getting stained and that has easy access to the area being tattooed. Feel welcome to Bring items with you to help make your session more comfortable (pillow, headphones, snacks, etc.)

Can I bring people with me to my appointment?

Our space is limited at the shop, so if you need to bring a support person, please only bring one guest at a time. It is generally recommended that you arrive alone for your appointment as extra people hanging around can distract you and your artist from the task at hand (i.e. creating a beautiful and permanent piece of art). Additionally, We recommend that people do not bring minors into the tattoo shop as there are physical hazards as well as biohazards present. We prioritize all our client’s safety and aim to keep a safe and clean environment. If you must bring your child with you, they need to be accompanied by an adult and be able to stay in the waiting area and be well behaved for the duration of your appointment.

How much will my tattoo cost and what payment methods are accepted?

Every PROJECT is different FOR A VARIETY OF FACTORS INCLUDING THE PLACEMENT, size and level of detail. Our artists work by an hourly rate and we encourage you to email them to discuss further. If you have a budget you would like to remain within, PLEASE let us know UPFRONT SO WE CAN WORK WITH YOU. Cash is always preferred but many of our artists also accept venmo and zelle.

Do I need to tip my tattoo artist?

Tips are always appreciated but not compulsory. Tipping is ingrained in tattoo culture as it represents appreciation for your artist and a job well done but is not technically required. Many artists also appreciate non-cash tips such as food, art, and other goodies. A typical cash tip is anywhere from $20-$100 depending on the size and length of your tattoo appointment.
